Hi,
I used to own a B6 passat and I have to say it was solid. The 1.9 bluemotion at the time didn't break no limits but it was good. After a 3 year stint on a BMW 318d ive decided upon a 2011 Passat estate 2.0 bluemotion 140. It was cheap as it had been in an accident but the mileage was low and the rest of it looks good.
Its an S model but has front and rear parking sensors and a DAB radio (RCD 310 I believe?). The radio says Bluetooth on/off but im told it doesn't have Bluetooth, it needs the module under the seat. To me that's looking or £100 already.
So, my questions;
1. Is shelling out over £100 the only option for Bluetooth?
2. Is only got one key, VW want £225 for a new one coded up. There are keys for sale on ebay but they all state check before you buy. What do I check?
3. Is it easy to upgrade the headunit to a 510 with the nav etc?
4. Anything to lookout for on these?
