Hi There,
I bought a Polo 1.9tdi (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003080U22/) Estate (X reg) a couple of months ago and am now also having problems with it starting from warm. The engine turns over (and over) but doesn't seem to 'catch/start'. Usually it will start if I leave it for half an hour or so but last time (it was pouring with rain - would that make a difference?) it wouldn't start when I tried it over a whole hour. Ended up having to leave it in a supermarket carpark until the next morning when it started (phew!).
I took it to a diesel diagnostic place today but they said that as it was starting again OK (typical), there was no point testing it for something that wasn't happening.
Any suggestions?
Also, both front electric windows aren't working. They make clicking and whirring sounds but don't move. Do they need putting back on their 'rollers'(?) or would I need a new set of electric things? I'm not very car savvy (as you can probably tell) and don't want to keep throwing new money after bad....
