Audi connect without Mobile Phone Prep: High?

I just got my new A4 and can connect my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 via bluetooth. I don't have an option for "car phone", just "handsfree". Is this because my phone is incompatible? Or because the MMI needs to have this option enabled? If the MMI needs this option enabled, is it possible to enable it using VCDS? Or does it have to be done at the factory?

Make sure your phone is connecting via RSAP not HF.

I'm not sure how to change this. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Any ideas how to specify that?
