Component Protection

I'd like some clarification of Component Protection please? I appreciate when active, it may be removed with an online GeKo connection only. However;



Does the B&O DSP (Amplifier) use CP?
It is my understanding CP is only activated if moving devices between vehicles. If a CP protected device is purchased new from the dealer, will it 'learn' it's first vehicle connection (thus not activating) and the module only have to be coded?

1) Yes the amp will use CP

2) I doubt it with it being new. Best to ask but I highly doubt it.
