Headrest stuck?

The headrests on my A4.... They're driving me mad, I want them to go down further than they currently are but Cabot for the love of god seem to figure it out. Surely they don't stand this proud intentionally?

if anyone can advise I'd much appreciate it.

Is there a button on the side of the headrest itself?

Not on the headrest it's self no, the only button I can find is the small plastic clip where the chrome poles go into the top of the seat. Which doesn't seem to be not working, but at the same time using them on either seat isn't doing anything to push them down.

There should be a button on the outside (nearest the door) of the headrest.
I have mine set flush with the seat but its a bit fiddly to do....
