Hi guys,
Apologies, I know this has ben asked previously on numerous occasions, but having done about 3 hours on multiple forums I now totally confused.
I had the car jacked today on a trolley jack via the pinch seams as per instruction manual. My issues is that I would wish to put my axle stand in this location but its only wide enough for the jack....
Having read multiple posts for hours which refer to options such as the tt lift pads, which it seems are only suitable for lifting all foour corners at the same time, avoiding the frame rails as these are weak and contain the fuel line on the passenger side... I am now unsure where I can safely jack up the car for both front and back sufficiently high enough to secure the car on axle on all four of the pinch welds...
I would appreciate any help please.... cant believe no definitive answer anywhere....
