i want to order some of the brembo drilled front brake discs but the site is listing 320mm or 345mm. How can i tell without having to take the wheel off ?

PR codes in your spare wheel well on the white sticker.

Put them into http://igorweb.org/equidec/ and note the code which relates to front discs. Use this code to look at the discs shown for the A7.

My specialist told me to avoid Brembo discs and pads!

take 2 pencils and a ruler or tape measure. place a pencil on the edge of the disc, through the alloy wheel. you want one either side of the disc, and they need to be parallel. now measure the gap between them and if you have done it right it will be either 320 or 345mm, and will be the size of the disc you need to order.

i have no idea :)
thing is, its the most reliable way of telling 100%. using the method chris suggests is great as long as its as it left the factory. someone may have changed things around since then.

Mmmmm, not in the brochure like I thought. Unless I'm missing it. I could have sworn the million times I read it it had the size of the discs in there somewhere.

Just check your PR codes as this is the most accurate way of seeing what ones are fitted. They're inside of your service book too.

i have gone right though the list, took me an hour and all it has told me is that i have front and rear disc brakes, nothing about sizes. will now go out and try Zollaf's idea.

Yes but you use those two codes against the brakes listed on different websites for A7s to get the correct size.

I measured them yesterday and they are the 345mm ones, the big ones.
have found out today that the code on my build spec label which is 1LJ (3rd row 2nd down) corresponds to 345mm, found this on the brembo website when ordering the discs.
