My A4 is going into Stirling Audi next week for its 1st service. I've arranged a courtesy car and I'm just wondering what type of car I'll get?

I'm hoping for a TT or failing that, a Q7!!!:D:D

Probably an A2, or if your lucky the 1.6 A3.

I had to drive from Manchester to Valley in Anglesey in a 1L Polo a few months back.... only took 3 hours :zx11:

On the two occasions I have had a courtesy car it has been a Polo.

1.6 FSI Golf
SEAT Leon FR (oh yes)
SEAT Arosa (oh no)

I had an archive box full of box files and my laptop when I had the Arosa, I had to fold the rear seats to get them to fit in the boot.

hehe the arosas are cute, you dont even need a drive, just put it in your back pocket when you're done with it ;)

When my good lady had her A3 1.8 Sport in the garage for the few things, we were given one of the salesmans car. It was a A3 1.9tdi Quattro, oh yes....did not want to hand it back!!!

This was a few years ago now, she has a Bora Tdi now

Just to throw things up in the air...
If your local dealer could only offer you a Polo, but you knew another dealer 150+ miles away could guarantee you the new RS4 as courtesy car... who would you go to? In fact ...how far would you be willing to travel (if at all) just to have the RS4 for 1 day?

Assuming the cost of service/repairs is the same and so is charge for courtesy car.

The Polo is a common courtesy car...

But.. you may be luckly and get a demo car if you only need it for a day.. anylonger and its a supermini....

BUT.. if you get a small supermini style.. you love your own car more when you get it back!!

Ended up with a 57 plate A4 2.0TDi S-line as a courtesy car. Very nice!!

It was interesting to compare it with my own A4 2.0 TDi SE. Very similar except for a lot more road noise from the S-line - must be those wide low-profile tyres that do it

and the boot..

The avant alway does sound a little noiser than the saloon..

I bet you was glad about the A4 compared to a Polo or a A2!
