Hey every one,

I have an a4 1.9tdi 115 bhp s line, it has 87k on the clock and is fully serviced. It's been back to the dealer and had a
new eve valve fitted two months ago. It's now out of warranty and it's started blowing steam out of the exhaust and losing a lot of coolant. As far as I can see there is no leak, but the is a lot of pressure when you go to unscrew the coolant cap. The engines still running fine and the heaters still blow hot. Just wondering if anyone has an idea what this could be?

first thought is a failed headgasket or porous head. time to get it looked at by someone who can correctly diagnose it, starting with a pressure test and block test.

Yeah, typically my local garage is shut till the 6th of jan. Happened on Christmas Eve, talk about bad timing! It should be egr valve (not eve)
