Hi I'm wanting to fit a Forge dump valve but can't locate it on the engine. It's a very different layout to the tranverse mounted units i'm used to, anyone help at all????

Remove the engine cover and its at the rear right of the engine. If its the 1.8T Lump.

Cheers for that mate, but the A4 engine is longitude mounted not transverse so looks completely different. I had one on my Ibiza Cupra and that was that style layout.

hi, no i didn't bother in the end. I had it remapped at Jabbasport and they said it prob wouldn't make a big difference and wasn't the easiest thing to get to anyway as it's low down on the front sort of behind the drivers side fog light (i could even see it). I ve got a new TT roadster now anyway, but still have the new dump valve in it's box wrapped up

Is it atmospheric or recirculating?
