Hi Guys,
Car has a problem starting.
I put key in ignition, press clutch down & fully depress key, dashboard initially lights up, but all power is lost as car tries to turn over. Parking brake light goes out as does the clock, entertainment system, door window indicators etc. there seems to be no power running around the car at all (doors won't lock etc.) Changed battery in key fob, adjusted all fuses to see if any were blown, then suddenly the parking brake light illuminates, the yellow indicator lights on door window mounts and clock lights re appear & car will then start up. Clock has zeroed back to 00.00 and date indicator goes back to 2009... This has happened twice in two days... any ideas what's going on?
PS, On occasion whilst driving at night the radio cuts out intermittently, Audi garage say there is nothing showing on the diagnostic machine!
It's a 59 Reg 1.8TFSi, 40k on clock if it helps...
