If people drive their DPF equipped car correctly there is no need to remove it anyway! :p

I take it that those who have ripped out their DPF's will now re-install a gutted version and still pass the MOT as a fair few Scooby drivers do with their gutted cats? t of interest what is the projected lifespan of a DPF?

Looks like manufacturers bribed Vosa lol so whats next, don`t fart in the drivers seat or you`ll need to change the interior to pass?

Odd though. I phoned VOSA up a couple of years ago and asked if I could de-cat my then A4 TDi and was told that this would be fine and that the car would pass the MOT either with or without the cat fitted as long as it passed the smoke emissions test. Seems like someone may have moved the goalposts somewhat.
