Not a lot of experience but always willing to take a look and see if I can help.

Any chance of some help tomorrow (Friday) either lunchtime if you're not too far from Cowley, or early evening?
Thank,
Mark

Hi Mark, Can't do Friday as I'm away from Oxford at the weekends. Could do Monday or Tuesday night. What's the problem? is the vehicle driveable?

Thanks for the response. I'm only in Oxford 2 days a week and next week I have to rush off after work both days.

The problem is with the central locking - the boot and fuel filler flap locks don't work. The vehicle is driveable.

Any chance of some help coding for a retrofitted Cruse Control to my 2007 S4 Avant. The unit is fitted but I don't have VAG-COM or or VCDS.
I live in central Oxford.

I can do one evening next week. I'm in Cuttslowe, whereabouts are you? I've no experience of coding a cruise control though.

Did you add the additional wire which may be needed and check your steering ecu version is compatible?

Cheers Chris, I think hardware side is OK. The car has 3 spoke multifunction wheel but from what I have read we need to tell VCDS we have fitted cruise.
Can we check ECU with VCDS.

Would you like to email me offline regarding meeting up etc

hi there...

Any chance of some vcds coding help?

i have an RNS510 navigation headunit and just had an aftermarket sub and amplifier installed to it. I need to code it to output a flat EQ as suggested is possible here:
Volkswagen RNS 510 coding when installing with a factory amplifier | my-gti.com (http://www.my-gti.com/1411/volkswagen-rns-510-coding-when-installing-with-a-factory-amplifier) the byte 5 bit in particular is pretty much all i'm looking to do.

The car is a 2010 Passat CC

I'll be in oxford on Monday (17/10/2014) if that isn't too short notice? or could arrange for some other date/time

cheers :)

Metallurgix,
Wondered if you were still in Oxford with a VCDS? No immediate hurry, getting a Golf MkVII in Oct and might need a tweak!
