Superb hatch back indicators not working in a diaganal

I have a problem with my indicators, both mirrors flash and the NSF and OSR work, have changed the bulbs front and back NSR and OSF but still no joy, and no power showing,on the metre is there a relay under the dash ??as the indicators seem to run in a cross over fashion, and no power getting to them both

Not sure if the superb is the same but most VAG cars use the hazard switch as the relay and this is known to fail.

It may well be that I dont know, mechanic has cleared open circuits with fault reader but they keep coming back its a 59 plate superb hatchback 1.9 tdi
