Cambelt Change

Hello, just a quick question to the guru's on here.

I have a 09 plate B8 S Line with 32k on the clock, do i need to change the cambelt soon? I have read different things such as it needs changing after 4 years or 60k miles.

I and the majority of others on here stick to 60k/4 years whichever comes first. Remember a cambelt is rubber and deteriorates over time and prevention (ie getting it changed along with the waterpump) is better than cure (ie a new engine after a belt snapping).

Just had mine done at 72000, £499 inc water pump.

Just had mine done after 5 years/45000 miles. Book says 110000 miles and no mention of years, but audi UK recommend after 5 years. Did water pump at the same time and managed to get small discount from audi all in for 470.
