Centre console cigarette lighter needs replacing.

Hi all

Appear to have broken the inners of the 12v cigarette lighter in the centre console by the handbrake. I obviously need to replace it.

Does anyone know if it's a specific type of fit..? or if any old one from a Motor Factors shop will suit..?

How easy should it be to get out...? Do I just prod/squeeze/pull it out or does it need the whole centre bit taking out to get at it..?


Any suggestions greatfully received.

Hi yes its very easy . Just prye open from the botton of the console (within the well were the little rectangle rubber mat is) disconnect the pin and replace the part

I was talking about the actual centre console which holds the cigarette lighter lol sorry i didnt make it clear enough
