What size are the interior festoon bulbs/ led number plate lights

As per title what size are the interior festoon bulbs, I am going to swap mine to LED ones and wondered if anyone could tell me what size they were. Also has anybody got them fitted already and wouldnt mind posting a link to the LEDs they use that would be great.

the smaller one of my interior lights has toshiba on it presumming this must off been from Audi ???

Right so i have taken my number plate lights out as i was getting bulb errors on the dash. Turns out some plank has fitted LEDs that wernt canbus friendly, so i thought i will take my two interior lights out to see if these would fit as a temp fix. To then find out i have two different sizes of interior light to, I am at my whits end. Phoned all kinds off people who said basically we dont know, does anybody know what size these bulbs are ment to be.

are they are just plug and play ???

In the mean time if i was to buy them i would need normal bulbs to go back into my car

btw the front interior lights will be a different size to the rears iirc.

so the interior festoon lights should be different sizes to the number plate festoon lights

see at the moment i have taken two bulbs from my front interior light the main one and both were different sizes one fitted in the number plate holder when i tried it and the other was to lose and just was lose

yes id say so, what i would do is just get a b8 specific interior led kit (the guy i got mine off can do this btw) and the oem number plate lights, then no issues and you know everything is correct.
