Hello all...

I changed the air filter, pollen filter, oil filter and oil last weekend.... seems all good, dont think anything has gone worng with that work...

I also decided to check all tyre pressures, they were down a lot, I put 28 and 30 as per indicated on the fuel flap...

Prior to this I generally always used to get about 55-65mpg out og my Mk4 19.tdi golf estate 130 PD. Now I only seem to be getting about 50-55mgs.

Any suggestions... do you think it might be something as simple as the change in weather over the last 2 weeks to frost and 0.degrees?

I would have thought a higher/correctly inflated wheel would be more fuel efficient.

Mant thanks in advance for any comments.

That's a noticeable drop, especially when you're used to 60+ mpg. A scan would be in order - see if anything crops up, like a coolant temperature sender. I had that one about 4 years ago. More recently, my thermostat was getting stuck causing the fuel economy to plummet.
