I have a question regarding Audi alloy wheels, are they standard fit across the board? I have been looking at some that are fitted to an Audi A3 but have no idea regarding fitments... If it helps they are 19" 8J X 19 H2..

This is what I have fitted at the moment that came with the car when I brought it:

The B8 has a centre bore of 66.6mm .. this is different from the rest of the range, the pcd of 5x112 is the same however.

How would I know the sizes, What should I be looking for? Sorry if it's a stupid question... but I have tried to understand it before but could never figure it out... I want a direct fit if possible.. I understand from a logic perspective of the nuts and bolts not fitting to the actual disc but... the whole letter/number sequence confuses me

it should be listed on the advert.

if you want a direct fit get something thats come off a b8 a4 or a5.

For a start, those alloys you've linked are Replicas as shown by 'Style' in the title.

5x112 is the stud pattern, thats the same on all modern Audis, what you're looking or should be asking for is what the bore size is, for your car you need 66.6mm so if you're unsure, ask the seller.

Hey there, as Chris has rightly said, you have the details of the stud pattern, all good.

You now know the bore differences, my A6 for example has 57.1mm dia bore iirc, but I bought a set of wheels from another car ( possibly A5 or Q7 ) that had a bore of 66.6mm........there was a simple fix for this by adding a set of spigot rings for around £10.00.....sorted.

The other key info to look for is the Offset, may be something like ET43 or similar, you should check what yours is and how they sit on the car. There will be a certain tolerance of what they can be so you need to check.

Too much or too little and they will either sit inside the arches and possibly foul the calipers or perhaps stick out way too much.

Good luck

Just for your info, 5x112 means there are 5 stud holes, and they are 112mm apart from centre of the stud to centre of the stud.

Ford fitments are 4x108, and Alfa 4 stud used to be 4x98.
