Hello All.
One of the parking sensors (factory-fitted) on the front bumper of a 2013 VW Passat has come loose and fell off. It is somewhere there hanging off its wire.
Could anybody provide some advice as to whether it is possible to re-attach it without having to remove the bumper? From what I have seen, they seem to lock into the hole by simple pressure, with an upwards pointing notch in the hole preventing it from rotating. Is this correct? Otherwise a simple procedure would be highly appreciated.
On a related note, as this is a 2013 car, I assume that I could just take it to the dealer and have it re-attached under warranty, but I thought I would ask first in case it is trivial to do, save everyone the hassle.
