Have I got remote locking??

I bought my 1997 passat se recently and it came with 2 keys a standard black vw one and a vw one with a torch in it.

Is there any way of telling whether the car has remote central locking?

None of the service books and manuals give me any clue as to wether or not my model had the remote central locking.

would be grateful for any help or pointers

Stripped this from Parkers, which would seem to indicate it should have c/l:
