Gearbox question

What were the differences with the Passat's boxes, like for like? I'm wondering if speedo and clutch connections are any different, even if mechanically they're the same. Any help appreciated.

4Motion and Quattro are different systems and I know the rear end is totally different...

But I was curious myself, so I looked it up!
Passat 4Motion uses the 01A gearbox, same as A4 Quattro, including the Torsen centre diff.

So... Thems the same!
