Passat B6 Key Fob Battery

I have a Passat B6 with keyless entry. One of the key fobs now needs its battery replacing. Any clues on where to prise this apart - I've pushed as hard as I dare without getting proper information for fear of breaking it!

You need to remove the key for the airbag switch and glovebox first before you can take it apart.

If you look on the silver part of the key, on one of the thinner edges you will see a small button. Push that while pulling on your keyring and the key will come out.

The silver top then slides to one side and you can take off. The key should now come apart.
