just a few Q's & need a few A's

1. I have a 2010 A4 2.0TDI Sline and was wondering when my lights come on i get a bulb error on the dash that says rear number plate light out but when i check them they are both on did so .....
did the 2010 Sline come with LEDs in the rear number plate lights or has someone just put them in as an extra because the light on the dash annoys the hell out of me ???

2. I noticed my passanger side mirror doesnt heat up like the drivers side one does is this a common problem or could this be something as simple as maybe a dodgy connection or a wire come of the back or just a case off that one mirror isnt heated which seems abit odd ????

The 2010 didn't, they came with filament bulbs right up to the facelift in 2013.

A fault scan will show if a heater element has failed or wiring issue but if its moves etc wiring should be fine, might just need new glass but get it scanned.
