A4 3.0tdi quattro engine managment light came on :(

I had to replace a bulb in drivers side headlight so removed the air box and uplugged the sensor to get to the faulty light, changed the bulb light now works great, but put the airbox back in plugged the sensor back in started the car and the eml light has come on, will this reset or?

can anybody advise please regards,
p.s i have checked the plug is in properlly.

You've created an open circuit error by turning the ignition on while the plug wasn't in.

You'll need the fault cleared and it will go away.

Great :) thank you very much, the car is running fine so i thourt it could be something like that?
any idea if the sort of cost?
