Stereo unplugged, now the dash lit up like Christmas...! HELP Pse :-)

Hi All, Just disconnected my Battery to try to reset an AIRBAG light/Fault that came on when i unplugged my Stereo (loud POP sound with it!!!) and instead of clearing the fault, it's lit up the dash like a christmas tree...!! anyone in West Sussex (UK) with VAG-COM that may be able to help...?? Hi, I had the similar problem with the Air Bag Warning light on and stayed on after I removed the original Head unit and connections around the head unit for new replacement, I spoke to a local dealership and they would charge me £65.00 to reset this Warning light a 2 minute job, so I bought a VW Code reader and also reset any codes, this unit cost £23.00 and on my 1st attempt to reset the Warning light worked perfect with ease within 2 minutes.
