Lights Question

guys sorry if this is a simple question. i have a 2012 passat but how do i get the side spot/lamps and the main lamps on together.. i can get them on seperately, am i missing something??

I'm pretty sure they stay on when you out your main beam on. Remember your sidelights are probably dimmed drl's.

I've wondered the same thing ! Would like my DRL's to stay on with side lights - way more effective !
Also, I'd like dashboard lights on all the time, as in certain lighting conditions, its hard to see the speedo / heating controls ie dark car park during the day / leafy country lane where sides / headlights aren't needed, but you lose illuminosity rapidly of speedo etc... seems to luminescent for 5 seconds then nothing !
