Hi All,

I think my car hasn't had the ECU software update from campaign 26D9 carried out.

Is this something that audi should do for free? or is that only when the car is under warranty?

Thanks

They'll do it regardless of warranty and service history status.

Ring Customer Service on 0800 699 888 or your local dealer.

Nice, I'll ring them in the morning. Thanks for your prompt reply!!

I bet they hate a new audi owner who's a geek and has just got vcds.

Which model is this for?
Any idea how it would affect a remap?

After doing a quick google it seems something to do with stalling very easily.

It will wipe the remap if theyre updating ecu software but ask your mapper if they'll put the map back on free or for a small fee.

I did a quick search too and it seemed to relate to diesel models.
As for remap....I have a self tuning system so can remap it myself but was just curious :)

Yes, it's to do with the EGR valve operation on diesels, and is thought to iron out some lumpy running.

It also limits the throttle on gearchanges to protect the clutch, apparently. I think that might be a tweak to reduce the load on the DMF, to be honest.
