Hi guys

Just bought an A4 Saloon, TDi 170 S Line Special Edition.

regretting not getting the rear parking sensors fitted.

Will a main Audi dealership be able to retrofit a colour coded rear parking sensor kit??

Is it the same as the factory fitted kit?

What sort of cost could I expect?

Any of you guys think it's worth it?

Cheers

i dont think Audi dealer can fit them.. i think its only as standard.

A know you can buy kits which companies will fitt for you as OEM kits..

To be honest i would not bother them them as i find the A4 easy to park,

I beg to differ, when I bought my 55 plate 2.0TDi last year it didn't have rear sensors but the main dealer stated that there is a 'factory kit' that can be fitted - cost was appx. £350. I had this done before I picked teh car up - well worth the investment. A main dealer should be able to do this.

I had the sensors fitted - and then re-fitted 3 times before they were ok on an A4 Avant. Dearler had stated that the retro fit would be undertaken by them before delivery but in fact they sent it to a 3rd party to do. No where near as good as the factory fit I have on the other car - but better than hitting things! Cost about £300
