Hi! First post here and newcomer to Audi ownership after the recent purchase of a 2010 Audi A4 Avant 2.0T FSI Quattro S Line Special Edition for the family car. I am very much a BMW man usually but so far I am more than happy with this car although I wasn't totally taken with how the 19" Speedline alloys tucked so far inside the wheel arches.

So, wheel spacers were the order of the day and I have just fitted some H&R hubcentric spacers to fill the arches a little better - 10mm at the front, 15mm at the rear. A subtle change from OEM but one which makes the car look a little more purposeful IMHO.

A few photos before the change:

Welcome to VWAF

Car looks awesome without the spacers and you've made it even better, well done!

Any more mods planned?

Thanks!

I wasn't really planning on doing any mods to be honest but I do think the car is a tad quiet so was thinking of a performance exhaust silencer to make it sound a little more meaty.

I'm also toying with the idea of a remap; as much to improve fuel efficiency as any power gains. I'm not au fait with VAG tuners or recommended ECU remaps though although I always hear good things about REVO remaps?

it does look so much nicer with the spacers fitted. sometimes they spoil a car but yours is spoiled without them fitted. always thoght they made the track too narrow.

Looks fantastic and welcome to the forum. The A4 needs spacers and not much else to make it a perfect looking car IMO... your pictures have reminded me about getting the window tinted on ours. Did you get yours done and if so, how much did it set you back? I've been quoted £150 for my other car but that has less windows!?!

What rim width, and offset do you run? I have a few sets rotiform 8.5 wide and ET45. I expect to use spacers but can not measure before I get some tires. 22621

This looks nice. Is it spacers from H & R? has the 10mm lip or is it straight?

Our car did not have the tints from the factory so we asked Exeter Audi to fit them as part of the condition of sale to us - I do not know how much they cost them though.
