Vagcom login codes !!!!

I notice you have to enter a login code to access certain vagcom modules and its area's


I wanted to get into the service module which is " engine adaption 10 " if i remember correctly , but need a log in code to access the service section

I have full version of vagcom

Ive tried the 12233 login that gets you in some other modules

Can anyone help with log in codes for certain modules?

I remember I had a problem resetting service reminder from channel 10, can't remember if it asked for login code. Anyway I used a different channel. Think it was 02 or 45

i been usinghtat ross link to try and do it , but cant get into the channel without a login code

so maybe i will try channel 2 or 45 then m8 ?

if you are trying to reset the service indictor you must do it via dash insert select 17 then adaption 10 channel 2 and change the value to 0 and save.12233 is for engine ecu settings for egr and fuel and timing as i have posted on here for pd fueling issues

Try www.openobd.com as it will give you few more options, also, a search on tdiforum.com will bring somme as well !

tried iot today, no luck !!! says channel not available !!!

also ch 45 is a no go too loofer !!


dam are sharans that different cos i have a few modules missing too , that most other VW,s have !!!

im using a ebay special cable , could this be the problem ?

has anyone got any other ideas pls ?

try again with the channels 5,7,8 and see if that helps if not you need a higher version

Enter the correct channel from the chart below in "Channel Number"
[Read]
The "Stored Value" is the current value for that channel.
Enter the "New" value of from the chart below.
[Test]
[Save]

So, for example, to reset the OIL reminder in a Sharan, save a "New" adaptation value of 00150 to channel 10.

Channel Indicated on Display Contents "New" Adaptation value to reset

OIL Distance which can be reset 00150

INSP Time which can be reset 00360
07 IN 01 00000
08 IN 02 00000

Note: Distance is in 100's of km. Time is in days.

Oil change service every15000 km Reset Channel 05 & 06
Inspection every 12 months Reset Channels 05, 06, & 07
Inspection service every 30000 km Reset Channels 05, 06, 07, & 08

I did manage to reset the oil service via the trip reset button and ignition on combination a few months ago m8 , but done another oil change recently, since that 1st reset i have no info on the dash read out now just the trip in miles ???

, so i wanted to go in and see it with vagcom if poss !!!

all seems abit strange really :confused:

ok , got into the channels are sure enough the values given match those you talk about a8 , :D

However when i go to change them , after confirming i want the change of values , a box pops up and says

Unregistered Version
Please contact your supplier
to Register this product

Would love a registered version , but i aint got £50 spare :(:(

So i guess im stuck then , until i get a registered version of vagcom

I need login code for ecu engine different from 12233 because
I have two Audi A6 c5, one is 1.9tdi 2001 115hp where 12233 code working perfectly, but I also have
Audi A6 c5, 2.5 TDI Quattro 2004 180hp and 12233 code doesn't work for this model, so is it there any other codes.
