Pedal help

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and after a spot of advice. I have a 2011 passat dsg and after some metal pedals (well hopefully just the large brake pedal cover) I recently had a Audi A3 and bought the set of OEM metal pedals for that but it was a manual, I have removed the pedals and it looks like the accelerator pedal will fit and work so I just need the matching brake pedal cover. Searched everywhere but can't seem to find one. I've attached a picture.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Welcome to VWAF.

Any S3 DSG brake pedal will fit, I would try contacting this seller and ask for the brake pedal on its own - Audi A3 S3 RS3 NEW pedals genuine Audi DSG automatic transmission RHD A/T | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251338222219?redirect=mobile)

Failing that, pop into an Audi dealer and ask the parts guy for a 8P S3 DSG brake pedal.

Thanks for the rapid response.

Well I rang the local Audi garage and they say they need a reg of a S3 to make sure it's the correct pedal because there are a few different types of pedal covers for the dsg. I would of thought something like that would just be a standard fit.

Any other ideas?

Make sure it's for a 8P S3, not 8L or 8V.

Just look on autotrader and get a reg for a 2009 (for example) S3 DSG. If it don't fit you could always take it back.

Do you think that the A3 pedal cover would be smaller than the Passat? Also do you know of any contacts on here for genuine VW/Audi parts?

The throttle is exactly the same as the one you pictured above and it's a S3 one on my car and most parts ae shared anyway.

The brake pedal is the same design too.

Contact the seller I linked above, he'll maybe just sell the brake cover.
