View Full Version : DPF Forced regeneration (idle) last on 4.5s

I have got DPF light on my A4 2.0tdi 143bhp. I think engine code is CAGA. VCDS shows around 38g off soot. I tried to do forced regeneration via VCDS and it only last 4.5s, the says Timeout:

This is what i get and measuring blocks are greyed too:

Using a genuine cable?

Make sure you've met all the requirements for forced regen - http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Diesel_Particle_Filter_Emergency_Regeneration#1.6l .2F2.0l_R4_CR-TDI

Yes.

It starts picking up RPM for regeneration up to around 1700, then timeout message.

My A6 is the same, no measuring blocks like in the picture:
