Red Eye?

The old Passat (B5) used to have different identification with the TDI,

Red-I, Red DI etc for the different power in the diesel unit. I'd never seen that in the B6......until today.

What does the RED-I signify in the B6 units, is the the 140, and the 170 is the Red-DI?

Yes, the red I is the 170 and the silver I is the 140. Although the red I is smaller on the B6 than the B5 and is therefore harder to spot.
