Multi function steering wheel

I was playing with the multi function steering wheel the other day and found a resolution to 2 things that had been annoying me. Firstly on the radio menu it was always displaying all stations until I found the menu option to change the band and access the memory (much more useful). Also on the telephone I realised that you could change the display from the whole directory to last dialled numbers (as well as other options) which is also a help. Unfortunately this defaults back to the full list of radio stations and full phone directory when the ignition is turned off. I've checked in the manual if the defaults can be changed but no joy. Anybody know if this can be done?

I do wonder if you can assign the setting to a key used, you'd need to login with vas, odis or vcds to have a look at this further if nothing shows up in the MMI.

Thanks but unfortunately I don't have access to those. I'll just live with it :D
