As title....is this implemented on the B7 Passat?

I have the Passat BMT Estate 2.0l tdi and the book mentions Adblue additive..

Confusing....

I'm certain that it is not used in the B7 Passat to date.

32110,
Thanks for that ...If there is one criticism I have of VW it is the generic manual they provide.......A friend of mine has the Sharan that uses Adblue and the story he told about it was not good....

The adblue will need topping up in your car every 10k or sooner depends how you drive it im sure its located in the boot on the os.It will let you no when its low you will get a warning on the mfd.:( From what iv read on here you cant just top it up yourself ..well you can but you have to get a nice person with a vag com to tell the car that's it been refilled ((

These references are all about USA models and do not necessarily apply to UK models. Also the 'Think Blue' reference is about Blue Motion (Stop/Start) technology and has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Adblue.
