Window Tints

I'm considering tinting the glass on my Avant from the B Pillar back. Has anyone, or does anyone know of a way of fitting the film without the silvering effect around the hatched part of the windows? I had this on my A6 Avant, it's the only reason I haven't had it done - the silvering areas look terrible!

Unfortunately the dot matrix effect around the shading areas stands proud of the glass and the film does not adhere in these areas. I have not seen any after market tints without the silver areas.

I have after market tints and there is no way of having it without the 'silver' effect. I'll post some pics later and show you but it's not that bad, and unless you look at the edges, you never notice it.
