Daytime Running Lights

Hi everyone, does anyone know if the DRL's on the GT are LED or Halogen when you spec the standard headlights?

I've had a search and can't seem to find a definitive answer.. my mk7 GT TDI is due to arrive start of sept.

I think there was something on this not so long ago, i think they're standard halogen but I'll check the MK7 section now ;)

The standard is halogen headlamps with halogen DRL's for the Mk7 GT. You have to specifically option bi-xenon's with LED DRL's at time of order.

Right.. many thanks indeed. I specced mine with the standard headlights so its halogen for me then!

If you want to change the standart halogen drl's color to amber you can use passat cc turn signal bulb. They are same. ( I do not know if it is legal in your country or not ) Bulb type is :PSY24W Part code is : N 107 763 02
