passat tdi 130 2002 engine vibration

hi

i have a paasat tdi which has a vibration sound coming from under the bonnet.
between 800 to 1500 revs, once i accelerate higher it goes away. its an annoying sound, like plastic vibrating.

anyone can help please:confused:

I had a similar problem. For me the air duct on the left hand side of the car where it goes into the air filter box was loose. I duck taped it into place and this cured it.

got a few areas to try, and that seems to be one of the most talked about areas, hopefully it is , as its probably easiest place to get to.

on the left you mean passenger side or driver side?:beerchug:

Drivers side.

The arrow points to the vibrating part i had. This chavved up engine bay was the first pic i could find but the part is in the same place. I had my wife rev the car and i put pressure on the various engine covers etc until it stopped buzzing.
