Audi A3 - Purchase

Hi Everyone :)

First time on this forum and hoping to receive some help from you all which will help me dearly..

I am looking at buying an Audi A3, Having done a little research I understand that the 1.6 fsi is the model to avoid, Is this correct? Due to chain tensioner problems?

I also understand that the fsi 1.4 and fsi 2.0 are on a belt rather than a chain?

Which engine is the most reliable do you guys think as it's about time I had some luck with cars lol :)

Pah...........if your after fun then go for the S3...........drive it for a while then get it remapped and unleash another 50bhp and then have some more fun. As your going down the petrol route then diesels are not an option then???
