MK5 GT 170 Space Saver??

Can anyone tell me what size the space saver for my 170 GT should be? It has a 125/70/16 with approx dia of 23inches! Our 140 Gt tdi has a 125/70/18 space saver with a dia of approx 24.5 inches which is equal to the dia of the 16 inch alloys. The dia of the 170's alloys incl tyre is approx 24.5 inches.
Has the 170 GT arrived with the wrong size space saver? :(

I intend to fit 17 inch Classix to our 04 plate 2.0 tdi which at the moment has 16 inch rims. So I thought it sensible to check that the space saver for 16 inch rims would still be OK with 17 inch alloys. On inspection I realised that the rolling radius of the 16 inch and 17 inch alloys appears to be identical however our 170 GT clearly has a smaller rolling radius space saver! :confused:

Can anyone tell me what size space saver their 170 GT has please?
