I got back this lunchtime from a business trip to London. I parked my car yesterday on Stoke Station car park and took the train. As usual, I parked towards the back of the car park in a quiet area to reduce the risk of my car getting bashed.

I arrived back today and got to my car to find this:

What a careless, idiotic way to park your Mondeo! As you'd imagine, I was quite annoyed, and I've decided to shame the driver by posting up pics of the Mondeo without the number plate blanked.

If you happen to see this car, steer well clear!

That would really pee me off as well. Bad enough when you get back to your car and someone's parked very close alongside (especially an old nail as the occupants are less likely to be careful) but that! :zx11:

Didn't even reverse back to cover his tracks, ignorant ****. No damage I hope?

Thanks! :) There's a slight scuff on the front numberplate but I think a little T cut might get it out. It's astonishing how careless some people can be!

I would have left a succint note under his wiper thanking him for displaying such excellent parking skill.

I'd have left the note on his front seat.

Erm, a little sexist since we seem to assume it was a man driving, give the less spatially aware some equality please! :biglaugh:

Was in Tesco's last month actually sitting in my car when another driver pulled straight in and hit my towbar at about 5mph, was straight on so no chance of anything being deformed. I got out and waited for the old couple to disembark and they tried to walk off..so called them back and asked them to explain the driving parking (they must have felt it). Told them to be more careful

Upshot is I had the paint removed from the westfalia towbar cover, they had a dented bumper and cracked number plate...the driver (who was of the female persuasion) was not amused :p Strangely it was a Mondeo estate.

2nd time towbar's saved me from idiotic drivers of a certain gender!

Or both! :D

Have you noticed the Ferrari air freshener hanging from his mirror? Maybe he fancies himself as Massa, along with the spate of recent collision-esque driving he has been doing :)

Like I said before, some Aliens style auto tracking machine guns should do the trick! Either that or ED209 stood by your car! My god that comes off as a very geeky post.... :Blush2:

I have a few of these printed and left in my glovebox, doesn't change the situation, but makes me feel a little better leaving it under their wiper.

It's the badge.
Firkin Orrid Ridiculous Driver.
One of the spatially inept wrote off my GL5 passat a good while back. Going the wrong way in a one way parking lot and then reversed into the space I was already parked in.
Grrrrrrr...

Problem is that these drivers spend a few grand on their cars which does nothing but take them from A to B. They dont care is the car is dirty or clean, gets a ding - their cars is nothing but a tool. Where as we all spend a LOT more money on our cars and we enjoy the car, the looks driving etc.

Hence to these drivers, bumping while parking to opening doors that dings the car next them is of no consequence...

their cars is nothing but a tool. ..

Sorry but immediately thought of this (watch from 45 secs) The Story of Mr Bean - I am a mime - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJJWD-xevPU)

Whenever I park in a public or shopping car park I try to park next to the most expensive car I can see...that way things like that are less of an issue...invariably return to find that's moved and some people-carrier with loads of dings and child seats has replaced it :( :aargh4:
