I am on the verge of buying a new Audi TTRS, which, unfortunately does not have rear park sensors. It's an option I have on my current car, and I like it. It's an audible signal that increases in speed when you get closer to hitting something.
Can the TTRS be easily fitted with good aftermarket sensor system?
Many thanks in advance for any help.

Are you sure about that? My US model has parking sensors. I would be surprised if they were different

I now have the car. I think I got one of the last ones for sale in Canada. The park sensors are not installed. I suspect it is because my car does have the navigation system. The two seem go hand in hand. I have learned that they can be installed aftermarket. I would actually like forward sensors installed as well. Because of the shape of the car's hood I have a difficult time knowing when I am approaching low flying concrete objects.

Have a look here Factory-or-aftermarket?
Factory or aftermarket? (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=150037) and you'll see a kit I linked Cobra Flush. They're as good as OEM and look just like OEM but without the OEM price.

to be honest the best option would be cobra a0358, flash mount sensors that look really OEM.

COBRA supply vag with there accessory parking sensors but the dealers ramp the cost up, make sure you fit the speaker loosely prior to reassembly so you can check the tone is suitable as they can't be adjusted so placing in the luggage area will reduce the volume output
