Just was thinking if what is the max safe power I can get out of my Skoda superb 1.9tdi pd 100bhp 2003.Basically the car only done 3544miles,yes,that low so if I can get a good power kind of thinking to part with my Volvo V70R 270bhp and spend some money on remap and decent wheels and pay the rest into c/card.I`m after a progressive map and what sort of price am I looking for?

130-135 Bhp is the safe power, some folk say 140 Bhp, however they have a gt1749v turbo which is smaller than the older gt1749v as fitted to the old AFN 110Bhp engine !

I was aiming to 170 really cos 130-135 not that much.So what do I need to up the power mate?I don`t really like the shape of the car but a low mileage like that u won`t find another one.

You will need more mods: turbo, intake manifold, injectors, clutch and a few more bits and bobs in order to reach your goal, the turbocharger is the bottleneck and the engine IS weaker than a pd130 ! At a minimum i would look at a pd 130 intake, EGR delete, bv43/GT1749VA turbo, PD 150 head bolts, PD130 intercooler + boost pipes, 3 Bar map sensor, clutch and a really damn good tune...
To be honest i am not really a fan of low mileage engine of that vintage as they are easy to clock and leave little if any traces + the engine does not operate at it's potential and the bushes perish as soon as you start driving it harder. Keep us posted...
