Hi,
I've just bought a 2009 A3 Quattro 2.0 TDI 170HP.
It has a high mileage (123K), but feels like a new car. Everything works, and it drives smooth as silk. VCDS also gives it a clean bill of health.
With this mileage, is there anything I should be watching out for?
I have heard that the common rail engine has a 'delicate' fuel pump. Is supermarket fuel ok?

Thanks,
Andy

Never heard anything about the fuel pump only problems in the old PD engine 2.0.

Just make sure he cambelt has been done, I had mine done at 65k at slightly over 4 years old.

I don't use supermarket fuel as it doesn't last as long as a 'named' fuel. A difference of usually 70-100 miles over a tank.
