Hi,
I recently bought a 130 tdi pd and love it, it's my first "proper" car (been driving rovers for 8 years!).

I am however peed off already with the 6 CD changer nonsense, especially when I have an mp3 collection over 50gig.

I'd like to be able to install some sort of mp3/harddisk system in the little space in the boot and route it through to the main stereo, is this possible? Is there any "standard" system people are already using? Im not really sure where to start
thanks

Hi,

Try here http://www.dension.com/main.htm
These systems can be purchased and fitted through Carphone Warehouse.

Good luck!:biglaugh:

Google "Phatbox" or "kenwood music keg" These are both car based mp3 players.

Other options are;

Buy an MP3 capable HU - some have memory stick capabilities, others have line-in ports.

Add a dash-mounted MP3 capable CD-changer.

Add a dash-mounted DVD player and burn your music to DVDs

If you already have an MP3 device (which I presume you do) then maybe look at adding an aux port to your current HU and taking your MP3 player with you in the car.
Pioneer do an iPod connector (which I've installed in a friend's car) as do a lot of other companies.
