Hi I have a volkswagen sharan 1.8t petrol 2000 model , well she started running rough lumpy idle and very poor acceleration . Checked for fault codes and got 3 different ones
1/ Engine speed sender G28 no signal
2/ Engine speed signal
3/ Charging time monitoring
So I fitted a new ( pattern ) engine crank sensor but it was still the same ?
Bit the bullet and fitted a genuine VW cranks sensor , problem code 1 has dissapeared not the other 2 , and the car runs slightly better but not right ?
Could it be the ECU playing up ?, problem I have is where ever I go they'll diag it and say crank sensor ??
