Morning

Three out of the four buttons which surround the mmi dial are fine, the forth (bottom left) can stick a little and then it's hard to push and then works again.

What's the best way to clean it? Ideally I'd like to remove the plate around the switch (which also surrounds the gear leaver)

Thanks guys

Mike

Well, I'm no expert but here you may find some useful info. MMI LED Swap (http://www.audienthusiasts.com/Project_MMILED.html).

This is the same in my A6.

Have just lived with it really.

Had exactly the same issue in my A6 as a result of fizzy drink spills.

Modest use of WD40 fixed it for me. They're now working like they were new.

Had the same problem with mine. Folow the LED swap link, really easy to do, and get to the MMI module, and take it apart, take the electrics out and soak the buttons in water and soap, and clean with a toothbrush so it never comes back.

Also clean the electrics as eventually if left on the module will stop working so its best to clean any gunk from the electric bit with a alcoholic cleaner (afterhsave I used).

Easy to snap back together.

Shjould take no longer than 30 minutes to take out and put back in, excluding cleaning time.
