Lookin forward to seeing pics.

You should be able to get the Tapatalk app or Photobucket app on Android Store.

Either upload the image thru Tapatalk or create a free photobucket account and paste in the IMG tags.

If you want, you can email me the images chris 'at' vwaudiforum.co.uk and I will post them in.

Yep that works - but it's the wrong image :)

Didn't know you could upload using the sites' own attachments.

Well, you have clearly been busy, but the plastidip technique
needs some more work!
Better luck next time.:o

Now that is impressive.
How easy was it to get that quality of finish? I need to do mine which has been painted
black but is starting to chip off.
Did you just buy a small can? How many coats?
Please tell all.

I bought a 400 ml can off ebay masked it off and give it 4 coats. Pretty easy took me around 2 hours with 15 minute interval drying time.

When spraying keep can around 6 inch with sweeping strokes and when masking make sure you leave a couple of ml gap as when removing tape the plastdip will be on your bumper. This is what you want as excess dip comes off easier. Did a good job im well chuffed:D

Thanks for that account.
Am I right to understand that you sprayed in situ?
Perhaps the grill is difficult to remove?

You dont need to remove grill mate' just make sure if you do it dont mask right up to the grill as when removing the tape it will pull the dip off the grill.

Over spray is what you want as this will give a nice clean line when removing tape.

I had my window trims done to but that was in vinyl before i found out about the dip i post some pics of the trims tomorrow.

I keep looking at this and coming back to it.....I've checked the website and saw dozens of videos on the subject.

It looks awesome and something I may try at some point in the future.

Looks like it could be fun, effect a really good job and be reversible if / when required.

Thanks for sharing

Hi Elkots.....thanks so much for sharing.

One point though - Is it possible you can "turn" your pics so that they are orientated properly?
Its just a little difficult to fully appreciate side on......lol
Thanks, much appreciated in advance.

From what I can see it looks great.....not sure how it would look on my Stratos blue though?
Look FAB on the white....
My chrome on the passenger side is milllllllllky and bugging me big time.
