2010 A1 Service Reminder Reset

I'm trying to reset a service reminder on a A1 SE, I've tried SRI-Reset but that tells me that it isn't UDS protocol on this model of A1. So gone into 17-Instruments, selecting ESI Reset, changed values and it is still displaying SERVICE and the Spanner icon. Is there another way round it via channels?

On the smaller cars you can reset it via pulling the things on the cluster itself.

This could be in your user manual ;)

I know it's possible on the A3.

by any chance do you know what the sequence is to reset it via the cluster

You can reset it on the RMC screen...but only the oil service!!

I have a 2009 a4 I know it's a different model but I have to use vcds to reset service reminded I'm assuming you will have to do the same
